Gliga 3, French model 3/4 double bass with a detachable neck, made in Romania – solid spruce top, solid plain maple sides and flat back, with Rubner French-style machine heads and ebony fingerboard.
Comes with FPS bag and bow, and D’Addario Orchestral Strings.
Designed by Peter McLachlan in a French style and set up ready for comfortable playing in all positions.
A great bass for the Rabbath technique with all the correct measurements. Recommended.
The case has a separate neck box which is in the lid. The neck box also stiffens the lid and helps protect the top of the bass from impact. The case has 2 wheels and straps on the sides and at the top.
