2009 National Double Bass Workshop

This Workshop has concluded and was a huge success.

The workshop catered for all ages and abilities, and was open to all double bass players. Participants were divided into groups of similar experience and ability for the group classes and the daily schedule included: a masterclass, ensemble/techniques class, group lesson, attendance at lecture/demonstrations and lunchtime concerts.

A teacher training course was also taught by Etienne Lépine-LaFrance, Ken Poggioli and Peter McLachlan, and was designed for those who are interested in teaching as a career.
