Handmade by a master luthier in a small family-owned workshop in Romania. This 4/4 size violin has a birds eye maple back and sides and a fine European spruce top from the Carpathian Mountains. It is finished with Rosewood pegs, an Ebony fingerboard, a Wittner tailpiece and a Teller bridge. This violin has been imported by Bassworks and setup by Ben McLachlan with a Wittner antiallergic Chin rest and Opal strings.

Raggetti Master Violin No. 6 Guarneri – 4/4

The Raggetti Master Violin No. 6 Guarmeri is a recreation of a Guarmeri Master Violin in the Cremonese style. It was made in China, and set up in our Belair workshop with Opal Strings and a Despiau Bridge. It has a solid Spruce top, and high flamed solid Maple back, neck and sides. Inlaid purfling, Ebony pegs, fingerboard and tailpiece complete the set-up. It is a stunning violin with an excellent sound.

Raggetti Master Series Violin No. 6 – 1715 Cremonese

The Master’s Series violins are a fine investment that will give many years of enjoyment to the musician and collector alike, and will be a piece of musical history to be passed on.

This violin has a highly flamed solid spruce top, with solid maple back, neck and sides. It has inlaid purfling and ebony pegs, fingerboard, tailpiece and chinrest. Finished with an oil varnish.

It has been set up in the BassWorks workshop with a Wittner Ultralight Tailpiece, a Despiau A Grade Bridge, and Opal Titan violin strings.

4/4 Raggetti Custom Violin. This violin has a consistently flamed one-piece maple back and closer grained spruce top, made with precise craftsmanship and superior timbers. This is an excellent, affordable instrument for the intermediate student. It has been set up in the BassWorks workshop with a Wittner Ultralight Tailpiece, a Despiau A Grade Bridge, and Opal Titan violin strings.
