Enrico 1/2 size double bass with carved spruce top, ebony fingerboard and bass bag. It has been set up by BassWorks with D’Addario strings for easy playability.

This bass has been damaged around endpin in transit and repaired by Bassworks. Repair is guaranteed for 12 months. (Please see pic)

Handmade by a master luthier in a small family-owned workshop in Romania. This 4/4 size violin has a birds eye maple back and sides and a fine European spruce top from the Carpathian Mountains. It is finished with Rosewood pegs, an Ebony fingerboard, a Wittner tailpiece and a Teller bridge. This violin has been imported by Bassworks and setup by Ben McLachlan with a Wittner antiallergic Chin rest and Opal strings.

16½” “Gliga Vasile Professional” Series Viola in #5 colour varnish. Handcrafted under the direct supervision of Mr Vasile Gliga.

Highly flamed and naturally aged sycamore maple back, neck and ribs. Close grained Carpathian resonance spruce top.
The outline of the instrument’s body is deepened and the plates are precisely graduated. Special attention has been given to the deeply etched and well highlighted scroll with a layered varnish finish. All fittings have been manufactured by the Gliga company.

Pegs – Ebony Hill style with white ball
Tailpiece – Ebony Hill style with white fret
Chinrest – Ebony Guarneri Style
Bridge – Gliga Aged Maple
Strings – Thomastik Dominant
Purfling – Inlaid
Grade – Handmade with high flame
Viola Pattern – Stradivari
Varnish – Hand varnish oil
String Adjusters – One black/gold.
