It is suitable for 3/4-4/4 Cello or any-size Double Bass. If required the instrument's endpin may be left extended at playing length,  as the support cradles can be adjusted to the required height. The Cello/Double Bass neck can be fastened in place by the lockable U-shaped neck holder, which is also easily adjustable. A holder for the bow is included. This is the stand I use in my house, where basses are accessible by small children and dogs.
