Description

SOLD  This bass is available by commision.
A French style Bass inspired by Francois Rabbath’s, Charles Quenoil double bass.  Ben has now made several instruments based on the dimensions of this instrument. It is made from flamed European Maple and bearclaw Spruce. It has a raised saddle, lightweight tail piece, ULSA Solitaire endpin, Belgium bridge and rosewood handles on the Rubner French machine heads. The fingerboard is angled in slightly, making the player more comfortable and the neck is thin and easy to play but strong (reinforced with a carbon fibre truss rod).
