Guitars
The
staff at Bass Works, besides being double
bass players, also happen to play guitar.
That is why there are some guitar products
on our site. They are not commonly found guitars
and are there because we discovered them and
found them to be excellent.
We
currently have a selection of Scott Cao classical
guitars in stock. We also recently began
stocking a new Steel String Guitar
from Schertler in Switzerland.

Bow
Rehairs
At
Bass Works we have a bass bow rehairing
service. We can normally have your bow rehaired
by the end of the day for only $88.

Some
of our customers have commented recently
how great it has been to visit
our Belair showroom. What they
appreciated was the one to one expert
attention. They also enjoyed
being able to try a great
range of well set up instruments
and accessories in their price
range in a quiet, peaceful environment without
competing with other
instruments. Also the coffee and muffins
were a high point. To visit us and play
our large range of basses & bows
etc please call Susy on 82782016 and
make an appointment.
Complimentary
cappuccino or latte and muffin in June
or most times if you smile nicely at
Susy.

Lachlan
Parker Professional
Lachlan
Parker double basses are the
best finished and sounding Chinese manufactured
bass we have ever seen. Prices
begin at $3165 for the basic model.
There is not a better sounding or finished
bass in this price bracket.
The
Lachlan Parker Professional (pictured
below)with an aged finish is made
with flamed maple back and sides and
a high quality spruce top. The workmanship
on these basses is outstanding and the
sound is fantasic. Highly recommended!
